El Korah Shriners Tin Lizzies Unit

Shriners Devote Numerous Hours Participating in Parades and other Community Activities

The Tin Lizzies unit of El Korah Shriners maintain miniature Model-Ts to represent Shriners to the community and for the enjoyment of children and adults alike.

The Unit primarily has 'work parties' from January through April. Starting in May, parade season begins with approximately 2-3 parades a month until September with the Air Force Appreciation Day parade. Wild Game feed fundraiser is generally held in October. Stated meetings alternate between Boise & Mountain Home on the 1st Tuesday of the month. The unit does not usually go dark in the summer. Boise meetings are at a restaurant or member residence, while Mtn. Home meetings are at Ray Liercke's shop off of the State Highway to Elko (near the base).
