Black Light
Patrol Conferrals, There at it Again! |
On Wednesday
February 27th the Black Light Patrol, accompanied by the Illustrious
Sir Jay Leonard whom we picked up in Mountain Home, traveled in the
Shrine bus to Twin Falls lodge #45 and conferred two 2nd degree’s
under the black lights. The Lodge had extended an invite to us
some time ago to come down and do the degree’s on 3 candidates
however, one could not make it to the meeting. They also promised
to treat all fourteen of us to dinner which they did. It
was delicious and was served up by the local Demolay group to about
50 or 60 Masons who were in attendance.
After dinner we promply went to work on the degree’s.
The degree’s were conferred by Bob Barclay and Kurt Reuter and
the lectures were given by Ben Montaney, Bert Miller, and our newest
Patrol member Steve Hall. The charge was given by Chuck Turner
with the other parts filled by the rest of the Patrol. The Patrol
always likes to put our group to work in the Blue Lodge and show that
we are truly Shrine Masons. Congratulations to the candidates
who were John Bonnett of Twin Falls #45 and Joel Heward of Paul
#77 and Thank you to the Lodges for the invite and the excellent meal. |
